From an early age, Fennella Bruce loved journalism & media. But in school and then early in her career, she often found herself in the minority — the only woman and the only person of colour in the room. Instead of trying to fit into the status quo, she found a way to stand out and reshape it.

In this episode of Chatter That Matters, Fennella shares her incredible climb as a writer, editor and producer to the highest ranks of television, taking us inside the world of news and morning television glamorized in the Apple TV hit “The Morning Show.” Respected by her peers and sought after by all the major networks, Fennella shares why she chose to pursue a career that many of us dream about but few do.

Then in 2018, Fennella left the trappings and security of her job. She started her own business, FKB Media solutions, focusing on Public Relations, Media Training, Livestream Production, Television Production and much more.

Once again, Fennella becomes “The One.” The one to watch, the one to earn the respect of a new business community, and the one to get her clients the attention they deserve.

Discover powerful lessons in how to overcome the imposter syndrome and how to stand out — and stand for — what really matters.
