Do you have a great idea but are not sure how to proceed? Are you dreaming of starting a business but afraid to take the leap? Wherever you are in your entrepreneurial journey, a little guidance can help you get your start.
The Founder’s Journey is a free, online, self-paced course built by Western University’s Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship in collaboration with RBC Future Launch & The Globe and Mail. Since the launch of the course, Canadians have been reaching out to share their start-up stories and how The Founder’s Journey has helped them nurture their business idea.
Michael Patrick is the founder of Black Beauty Fabworks and the loving owner of his Black Stallion Chubanga. He wasn’t happy with the cost of the farrier tool carts he found on the market, so decided to take matters into his own hands. After building his own model, he was encouraged to sell it and proceeded to build his business through cold calling and social networking. The Founder’s Journey helped him take his business to a new level, showing him a path forward with fewer bumps and bruises than he experienced when going it alone.
Watch how The Founder’s Journey supported Michael’s unique entrepreneurial journey.
