MEDSKL is a leading e-learning platform that provides free access to medical education resources for both students and new doctors. It has around 200 peer-reviewed lesson modules covering different aspects of medical education. And to help medical students and new doctors learn good financial habits and equip them for financial success, MEDSKL partners with RBC Healthcare to create the personal finance channel Financeology.
In its first module of Financeology, “The Penniless Doctor Syndrome,” Dr. Sanjay Sharma highlights some financial habits that may lead to a lifetime of financial pressure.
In this second module, “The Diversified Doctor,” Dr. Sanjay Sharma moves on to investing and explains how one may balance risk and rewards by diversifying their investments with the goal of becoming financially independent. He also touches on an easy-to-implement framework to help learners map out their investment plans and shares his BLOG Model™, which he uses to grow his nest egg and achieve financial independence.

A final note from Dr. Sharman: “Don’t just take my recommendations. It’s always best to seek a financial specialist to get personalized advice.”
